Re: his excellence Mr Lugbuur the current president of the Ogaden region. By Mr Shukri Mohamed

I am not convinced, are you?
In my heart as a true admirer of peace, stabilities, social and economic equity in the Ogaden region, I have every reason to be cheerful and buoyant upon reading the rosy pictures painted in the above article by Burdhoodi. However my head tells me otherwise. My fellow readers if Burdhoodis article made your head hurt you are not alone stay with me.
In the article the author was utterly poor in his argument, linguistically inept, clearly an apologist and wholly disrespectful to his readers and sources.
In the first and opening paragraph we read, Mr.Abdullahi Mohamed Hasan is the only man who was been elected fairly by the countrys 8million Population comparing the past elections this was different according to the international observers stay in the country pressure of the media and the public watch.
In here the author mixes-up two fundamental rules in the art of writing, on one hand he claims to be the first source of this unprecedented claim and on the other hand he tries to give the impression he is indeed referring to a well-sourced international findings according to the international observers as the sentence goes, yet he woefully neglected to respect his source and readers by not given the date and the name of the source or even speech marks for that matter. This is a plagiarism in it is worst form.
Facts: his excellence President lugbuur, was selected (as opposed to elected by the 8million or so population) by a control group whose their main priority is to keep their sleaze and corruption pipelines up and running. My point here is not to question Lugbuurs legitimacy as head of the region but to expose this ludicrous claim of Burdhoodi.
In the second, third, and the fourth paragraphs we read again a classical failure on the authors part, as he clearly chooses not to give a second thought to the clarity of his writings. I challenge anyone to read these paragraphs and prove me wrong. I am afraid this simple is not good enough.
In the fifth paragraph he continues in his sleepwalking demeanour by claiming lugbuur will be re-elected not only the next election but third term, these are not my words they are burdhoodis claim here we go again lugbuur will be re elected not only the next election but third term elections others suggest he deserves to be the president not only the (kililka government) but also the ONLF which is a new record of kingship. On what ground is he basing his claim here? Only time will tell.
In my second paragraph I asked you to stay with me if burdhoodis report made your head hurt. As a disappointed reader I would like to make a fair, unbiased assessment on lugbuurs administration
To be fair to him, His excellent President Abdullahi Mohamed Hasan has only been on the hot seat for few months, he has inherited an unprecedented mess from his predecessors, he has a mountain to claim, the region indeed the whole country is going through a period of political unrest, there is a cute shortage of food underpinned by consecutive draughts and failures of seasonal rains, there are huge expectation among his people to do better than his predecessors. Despite all those adversaries, the ten thousand dollar question is for how long are we prepared to give him, before he delivers on his promises? I am afraid the answer is none, at least in opinion, he must deliver and deliver very soon, his honeymoon and acclimatisation periods are well and truly over. Lugbuur in my opinion should fight a war on three fronts and he must win in order for him to be re-elected and re-elected as Burdhoodi put it or be made the president of the ONL. (Ogaden National Front)
On the first front He must be bold enough to resist against the age old ultimatums from the central government which shamefully requires the regional head of states to do as they told or else.
On the second front He must fight the widespread corruption, mismanagement, incompetence and cronyism in the region to the bitter end, thus become a champion for the common men and women.
On the third and last front
He must dispel the climate of fear, mistrust, and prejudice among none ethnic Ogadens in the region, by addressing the social and economic fairness, but by no means humbling himself before them and giving unqualified ground in order to win them.
If lugbuurs onslaught yields emphatic victories on these three fronts, he should rightly claim his place in history as a true leader. However if he fails I am afraid he is on a collision course with the same faith suffered by his predecessors.
