House of Federation Deputy Speaker says Ethiopia desirous to strengthen relations with Bahrain

Deputy Speaker of the House of Federation Dr. Mohammed Serehaye said Ethiopia is desirous to enhance its existing relationship with Bahrain.

Dr. Mohammed made the statement on Friday while holding talks with a five-member delegation of the Bahrain Shura Council.

Dr. Mohammed said Ethiopia is eager to enhance brotherly ties with Bahrain.

He told the delegation that efforts were underway to speed up development in the country.

He said the visit of the Bahraini Shura Council delegation would help exchange experience between the two sides.

Head of the Bahrain Shura Council delegation Dr. Abdurrahman Abdullah Bin Ali on the occasion said the visit would help strengthen the existing friendship between the two countries.

He said the presence of many Ethiopians engaged in various fields in Bahrain would enable to strengthen relations between the two countries.

The delegation also held talks with members of the House of Peoples' Representatives, officials of the Investment Commission as well as that of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council on Friday.
