Jijjiga, April 10, 2025 (WIC) - The Somali state said it has finalized its five-year strategic plan, which was being formulated by various professionals.
Chief Administrator of the state,Abdulahi Hassen, said today that the strategic plan was prepared over the last three months by professionals from the Ministry of Federal Affairs and other pertinent offices.
He said the plan points out the direction the ten sectoral offices of the state have to follow in building development, peace and good governance in the coming five years.
Abdulahi added that the roles of administrative bodies from kebele through woreda to state levels ,and the public are also spelt out. Upon endorsement by the regional and federal governments the strategic plan would play significant role in helping the state register better results in development,he underscored.
According to Abdulahi, the state never had a plan thus far and the present strategic plan was designed within a short period, following the training offered to the newly elected high officials of the state.
